Family Dinner Residency/Exhibition
Family Dinner is an art space/residency/project/dream starting from the basis of food and community organized by Charli Herrington and Gordon H. Williams. It is built upon a collective experience with research on reproductive labor through themes of hospitality, sharing and gifts— not just cooking and collecting recipes, but an experiment through learning and eating together. Family Dinner is based in Rotterdam and focuses on supporting local artists, food growers and reproductive labourers. Family Dinner began by seeking out collaborators to contribute toward a publication via an online residency program we hosted in October 2021 which resulted in a cookbook release and exhibition in February 2022, which took place in collaboration with GroenGoed at the Hof van Noord garden in Rotterdam.
